The Chanel 19 is a large, soft flap bag introduced in 2019, its name marking the year, and designed jointly by Karl Lagerfeld and Virginie Viard as one of Lagerfeld's final creations. It has an oversized diamond quilt, a slouchy relaxed body, and a mixed chain-and-leather strap, often shown across gold, silver, and ruthenium hardware on a single bag. The front closure is a large interlocking double-C turn-lock. Conceived as a more casual counterpart to the structured Classic Flap and Boy, it became a fast permanent icon.
