The Deauville is Chanel's canvas shopping tote, introduced in the Spring/Summer 2012 collection and named for the French seaside resort. It is a large open two-handle tote, most iconically in grosgrain or heavyweight canvas with leather trim, a reinforced base, and a bold CC logo on the front. Reissued nearly every season since, it is Chanel's go-to casual daytime and travel tote.
