The Grand Shopping Tote, widely known by collectors as the GST, is Chanel's large open-top day tote in quilted caviar calfskin, carried by two chain-and-leather handles with a CC logo on the front. It has a roomy unstructured body suited to everyday and work use, without a flap or turn-lock closure. Chanel discontinued it around 2015, which pushed it into strong demand on the resale market. GST is the community and trade name; Chanel identifies its seasonal bags by style code rather than an official model name.
