Named for a 1990s photo of Jodie Foster using a Bottega hobo to hide from the cameras.

Origin

A bag named after a moment

Daniel Lee reintroduced Bottega's knotted hobo for 2020. It took the name Jodie in tribute to photos of Jodie Foster in the 1990s using a Bottega hobo to shield her face from an unwanted photo-op.

The intrecciato knot

The Jodie is built around Bottega's signature intrecciato, its hand-woven leather, finished with a knotted top handle. Intrecciato is the house's woven-leather technique.
