Named for a Milan landmark The Galleria takes its name from the original Prada store that Mario Prada opened in 1913 inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy's oldest active shopping arcade.

Saffiano, the house's own leather It is made from Saffiano leather, the crosshatched, waxed finish patented by the house's founder. Each bag is built from 83 pieces and takes more than six hours to make at the Scandicci factory in Italy.
