The Cabas is Celine's minimalist open-top shopper, a large, soft, unstructured tote carried by two flat leather handles, made in smooth or grained calfskin and usually kept logo-light with at most a small embossed Celine stamp. It comes in vertical and horizontal shapes across several sizes, built for roomy everyday and work use with no closure. Celine also makes a separate winged Cabas Phantom, an open-top version of the structured Luggage, so this name spans both the plain Cabas tote and the Phantom.
