Louis Vuitton Neverfull: should you get the MM or the PM?

By Arielle, Founder and Editor of The Luxury CatalogVerified · June 27, 2026

On resale the two sizes cost almost the same, so the choice is about what you carry, not price. What each lists for now, and why the MM is quietly the better deal.

The Neverfull is most people's first Louis Vuitton, and the usual hang-up is the size: the bigger MM or the smaller PM. On price, the resale market makes the decision easy, because the two cost almost the same.

What each lists for

On current premium-resale listings, the MM has a median asking price around $1,245 and the PM around $1,185. These are asking prices from our tracking of live listings in June 2026, not confirmed sales, and they describe the market rather than appraise any single bag.

The MM is quietly the better deal

About sixty dollars separates them, which is noise on a bag in this range. So you are not really paying more for the bigger bag, which makes the MM more tote for the same money. The PM holds its price because plenty of people want a smaller, lighter everyday size, not because it is a bargain.

So pick by what you carry

This is a use decision. The MM is a true large tote: it swallows a laptop, a change of clothes, the daily everything. The PM is the more elegant everyday size, lighter on the shoulder, better if you carry less and do not want the bag to dwarf you. There is no wrong answer, only the one that fits your day.

One practical edge

The MM also turns up far more often on resale, around 141 listings to the PM's 54 in our snapshot. That means more colors and conditions to choose from when you buy, and an easier sale when you are ready to move it on.
