The Jypsiere is Hermes's crossbody bag, introduced in fall 2008 by then-creative director Jean Paul Gaultier and often described as a slouchy, cross-body take on the Birkin. It has a soft, rounded body with a front flap, a Birkin-style turn-and-strap closure with a padlock, and a long adjustable shoulder strap for hands-free wear. Aimed at a younger clientele, it comes in several sizes and many Hermes leathers.
