A whisper, not a logo
The Peekaboo launched in 2008, first under the name Hide and Seek, as Silvia Venturini Fendi's answer to the logo-heavy bags of the early 2000s. She wanted a classic shape that whispered luxury instead of shouting it.
The Peekaboo is meant to be carried open so its contrasting lining peeks out, a bright color or rich texture against a quiet exterior. The name comes from the children's game peek-a-boo.
