The Garden Party is Hermès's casual open tote, a roomy trapezoidal shopper with two rolled handles and, most often, a canvas body trimmed in leather or an all-leather build. Sotheby's dates the design to 1964, when it grew out of the house's equestrian world before becoming an everyday carry-all. It closes with a simple snap and comes in sizes like the 30 and 36, sitting as one of Hermès's most accessible and hardworking totes.
