The Pillow Tabby is the padded, puffy version of Coach's Tabby, a boxy shoulder bag whose design draws on a 1970s Coach archive style. It keeps the Tabby's front turn-lock closure spelling out the Coach name and its short top handle with optional strap, but is rendered in soft, quilted nappa leather with a plush, pillowed body. It is a variant of the Tabby line rather than a separate model.

Coach began with a baseball glove, and the Tabby revives a 1970s shoulder bag.
Origin
Coach started in 1941 in Manhattan as a men's leather goods workshop. Taken with how a well-worn baseball glove softened with use, its makers developed the supple Glove-Tanned cowhide that became the brand's signature.
