By the Way

Name: Fendi By the Way Mini
Brand: Fendi

Catalogued June 2026

The By the Way is Fendi's take on the Boston bag, a structured barrel-shaped satchel with a rounded double-zip top, two short rolled top handles, and a long detachable shoulder strap. It carries the Fendi logo plaque at the base of the handles and is often finished in the house's Selleria saddle-stitched leather. Introduced in 2014, it was positioned as an everyday day-to-night bag.

Fendi authentication: The markers worth checking
The FF print is the most-copied part of a Fendi, so the read is in the execution: the logo geometry, the warm Zucca tone, the flat-head clasp screws, and the serial-to-NFC era timeline. Markers to weigh, not the logo.
